We offer a variety of meditation classes that are appropriate for everyone!
Introductory level GP (General Program) classes are offered in every location and give a gentle introduction into meditation without need for prior experience.
These classes offer a broad experience of Buddhist tradition with a practical approach to applying the skills learned in class to our daily lives. In GP classes you will learn how to meditate like a "professional". This will increase your ability to focus, reduce your negative states of mind, and begin the process of integrating the peace of meditation into your life.
Meditating for only five to ten minutes a day allows us to reduce feelings of stress and irritation in our mind and develop a happier more positive mind. By approaching our daily life and it's problems with a happier, confident attitude free of negative minds, we can tackle our challanges in a way that is more constructive and positive, and in this way become happier ourselves and gradually improve our relationships with others.
Meditation allows us to reduce and eventually eliminate our negative states of mind and begin a calmer and happier journey through life. With a happier and more positive mind, we are better able to engage in our personal and professional lives.
The General Program classes start with a short breathing meditation to relax the body and calm our busy mind. This is followed by a short talk on how to apply Buddha's teaching to our everyday life and then a fully guided meditation. All classes are taught by experienced teachers with many years of practice.
The classes are taught in a very practical manner, easily applicable to our daily lives, and require no specific belief system. Critical thinking and questioning of the teachings is encouraged, and each class offers a chance for a question-and-answer period as well as discussion with other students.

There are no requirements of any kind to learn meditation. Chairs and cushions are provided, as well as delicious vegetarian snacks. You do not need to pre-register for classes, or wait for a particular time to start. Simply show up and join the class! Requested donation for classes is 10$ (5$ for students and limited income). No one is turned away for lack of funds.
