Dharma for Depression Coming out of the dark to live a happy and meaningful life. In Buddha’s teachings, the Dharma, are many methods to not just “cope” with depression but actually triumph over it entirely. In our meditation practice we can learn how to cultivate positive feelings in the mind, and in the meditation break we learn we can transform our daily experiences into personal insight and healing. We can awaken our mind to a new view of our self and our world, and find joy in the great opportunities that this life actually offers us. This day course will consist of teachings, meditations, and group discussion and includes a delicious vegetarian meal. Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary, Everyone is welcome. |
