Pujas (Chanted Meditations)

If you enjoy meditation, chanted meditations are a great opportunity for you to improve your concentration and deepen your mental bliss. Pujas are free to attend and everyone is welcome!
Enlightened blessings
These chanted meditations are known in Sanskrit as "pujas", meaning "offering", or as "sadhanas", which means "method for receiving attainments". Using ancient prayers translated into English, we receive the blessings, protection and guidance of enlightened beings.

We can make requests for ourselves or for others who need help or protection. These spiritual practices create a strong connection with the Buddhas, and help us purify our negativity and fill our mind with positive, healing energy. These meditations are open to everyone and no experience is necessary to enjoy them! People sit on chairs or on cushions on the floor.

Please check the monthly Calendar for dates and times.

All our chanted meditation practices are recited in English with beautiful, easy-to-learn melodies and CD accompaniment. Everyone is welcome to participate in these beautiful practices. We recommend that you arrive about fifteen minutes early to be seated and relaxed at the start of the session.

For prayers with tsog offerings, it is useful to arrive a half hour early to help set up offerings. Please bring a vegetarian offering to share.

There is no donation requested to attend any of these chanted meditations.

Please check the Open in new window calendars for all dates, times, and locations.

Pujas are a beautiful spiritual practice open to everyone.
