What is a retreat.
A retreat is a chance to dedicate some time apart from the routine of our daily lives to deepen our experience of meditation. By setting aside a portion of a day and spending it in quiet peace at a meditation center, we can engage in focused study of a particular topic
for a length of time that we might not be allowed otherwise. It is traditional for all of our centers offer a Lamrim Retreat once a
month, check the calendar for exact dates.

Lamrim Retreats.
Vajrapani Center offers various one-day meditation retreats each month centered around Buddha's teachngs as presented in the famous Lamrim cycle
(check the calendar). The day consists of three or four sessions, each about an hour and a half in length. You may join in any or all of the
sessions. Each session includes brief guidance and explanation, leaving you plenty of time for your own study and contemplation. We can relax and reduce stress on retreat and increase our mindfulness, concentration and inner peace. No previous experience of meditation in needed to attend and pre-registraion is not required. Feel free to drop into any session to gather bliss!

These retreats are open to everyone, even those who are new to meditation, and they are especially recommended for those who wish to make swift progress toward the supreme inner peace of full enlightenment.
